What you'll face if you go to the Thai universities.

I've started my university life since last week and everything haven't been so hard until this evening as I got hazed by the senior students. Some of you who stumble into and read this might already know that in Thailand there's this ridiculous activity for the freshmen year  which I did hope it wouldn't be used in the major I was in but it is. At the first place, I came to join the kinda fun dancing and to get to know the other freshmen thrown by the seniors after the classes. Everything was going fine and I had fun but then, all the lights were turned off and a black shirt crowd ran around us yelling words like head down, close your eyes, don't move or don't speak. At the moment I instantly, hopelessly knew that the hazing thing was going to happen and one of the crowd said if we couldn't take it we should raised our hand. So, I raised my hand with my heart shaking, terrified and so angry. I just couldn't let them do that to me. It was a shame that the other freshmen didn't wanna stand for themselves. They led me to the first aid place which I kept crying all the way to. Even I'm not all the time there hazed but I heard the fucking noise and I can really tell you that it was so bad and crossed the humanity line (They attacked our feelings by yelling things like don't you love your friends?, can't you sacrifice for your major? are you selfish? sing our faculty song!, louder! you are not singing it from your heart! stuff like that and the fact that we all are in the faculty of humanities, quite opposite to the thing they do, right?). They didn't hurt any of the freshmen but with words, obviously they did a lot. Probably  half an hour, they turned off the lights again and ran out so, no freshmen could see their faces(it's like a crime for the way they tried to hide themselves after they did THAT I think) When everything was ended, I came back to join the freshmen. Some were crying, some were red-face including me but surprisingly a lot of them were just laughing like nothing was happened. Now, It's going to be the most painful moment for me. It totally broke my heart hearing the feedback from the freshmen because lots of them agreed with it and thought it helped them maturer which come on don't ya think it's useless?

From now on, I, a kinda broken heart freshman, don't really know what to do next. I'm so pressured. If we are in, we are hurt, if we are not, we hardly make friends, that's what I'm suffered from. I hope I can gather people especially the freshmen who don't like THIS ACTIVITY(they call it the estimation) to join a group that resists THIS. (what a stressful thing to say today -_-)

Anyway any of you who would like to express you feelings, experience or views of the hazing please comment it would make me so happy.

Finally Graduated

30 Days Drawing Challenge

I found this somewhere a long ago. I think this one is the best version of 30 days drawing challenge so far. Since I have some time off before I go to the university, I decided this summer break would be perfect for this drawing challenge. (Actually, I have done the first 4 of 30 already.) I never really did anything during my breaks and I always felt a little pointless. So, I'm quite happy and enthusiastic to draw these and make a book of my drawings. If you guys see this challenge, you should do it too. Maybe, change some details of what to draw each day if you don't like. I think it'll be fun for your break!

From Molly Rauch

I have been waiting for the right time to blog something for half a year. It looks like I finally have to do something with it. A couple of months ago, I got a very surprising message from Molly Rauch, a stamp painting artist  from New York, telling that I was the 600th who liked her art page and would get a copy of her stamp paintings. That was a really big moment for me like I'd never been contacted by my favorite artist before so, I was super super happy and excited.

As in the photos, her art is something like pasting a stamp on a paper and paint the extended scenes around it. I found out her work in a Thai magazine and started to follow her work  since then. I think her art is really beautiful, lovely and creative. You should check out her website
