I once had a chance to know a great poet.
His deep sorrow brought him many poems.
And I just thought that I should try to translate them.
So here I started with the one he wrote recently.
'That little place the universe provides
For me to laugh and cry
Nothing could have been more pleasing
But I asked God for his being
'Such a pity
That I turned my back on him
Embraced my sorrow
'Then I grew up with it
I cherished its beauty
And it treasured my existence
I was sinking in the unconnected connection
It cured me and reminded me that I'm true
'... Too long to remember
Was it painful when I was born ?
Only know for mom it must have been bitter
Likely the first lesson that we should learn about the world
But everyone sees through it
That is also such a pity
'.... As I don't have choice and I can't make one
'.... As I don't have choice and I can't make one
Ever since that day everyday would always be pitiful
As I no longer want to make him understand this lesson
Ever since that day curses will take place
They will stay everywhere
.
In books
In fume
In songs
In that stupid glass of cool cocoa
In nails of hands we held
In the lips
In the light
In our thoughts
.
.
.
Undeniable
Undeniable
I shall truly say'
I really hope he'd know that I like his poems very much.
